Date night & ALV Jewels

Hey guys! I thought it be fun to post an easy and fun date night outfit for this coming weekend.

I am wearing a dress that I bought in the summer. I honestly forgot about it until about a week ago when I noticed it in my closet. I recently bought this coat and I haven’t really had anything to wear it with yet, so I thought this dress was perfect.

I was searching for a long, lightweight coat but couldn’t seem to find one I loved. Then, finally, I stumbled upon this one at Nordstrom Rack. I am absolutely obsessed with this Harlowe & Graham coat and you guys will probably see it a few more times in my next couple of posts. A jacket this length is going to be a staple piece in your spring wardrobe this year. It’s so easy to dress up or down or even just to add a pop to an everyday look. It was on sale for $50.00 when I bought it buttt you guys are in luck! Right now its on sale for $35.98! How awesome is that?! The burgundy color is a little bit dark for spring but I think when it’s paired with light colors, like I have here, it looks good. However, if you’re looking for a brighter color it also comes in a cream/white color.

My dress is from Zara and it is just a simple cotton/spandex blend shift dress. If any of you are familiar with Zara you know they are fast fashion, which means they bring new product in and old product out about every two weeks. So this means finding this exact dress will be next to impossible considering I bought it in August. However, I did find good duplicate shift dress that has a similar pattern and, I think, would work with this look. For those of you who have never shopped or even heard of Zara, I will also link the Zara website. I know I hadn’t even heard of them before about three years ago, but they have some great stuff at amazing prices! Definitely check it out.

Since I was going on a date I thought this look called for heels. I chose to wear my tope over-the-knee boots. It’s still pretty chilly and I didn’t want me legs to freeze. If it’s warmer out when you duplicate this look some strappy heels or short open toe booties would look great with this as well.

Finally, I kept my accessories simple. I pulled the blue colors from my dress with my kate spade cedar street mini nora cross body and added my burgundy puff ball to compliment my jacket. And of course, I had to wear my favorite new bracelet from ALV Jewels! These one of a kind pieces look great with a dressy look like I have here, or with your favorite boyfriend jeans and tee. Don’t forget to check out the website and if and when you fall in love with all these fun pieces use the code Sam25 to get 25% off your order!

There you have it guys, another daily dose of your fashion vitamins.

Thanks for reading. xx.
